Join us for Happy Hour and meet other new Chili Peppers! Enjoy the ambiance of the late spring afternoon on Vero Amore's wonderful patio. In 2006, Vero Amore (meaning “True Love”) was certified as an Authentic Neapolitan pizzeria #250 by Italy’s world renowned Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana Academy (VPN). The association requires restaurants demonstrate strict traditional Neapolitan pizza-making standards demonstrated ongoing in order to achieve this recognition. In addition to outstanding pizza, Vero Amore also offers a variety of other Neapolitan appetizers and main dishes on their menu.

In response to a survey of Tucson Newcomers Club members, the Newcomers Board has voted to require proof of COVID vaccination for everyone attending indoor events and/or events where food and/or beverages will be consumed, effective July 1, 2021.  

In order to attend this event, you must have first emailed a copy of your vaccination card to TucsonNewcomersWebsite@gmail.com.  This policy includes all guests as well.  Alternatively, you may show your vaccination card to any Board member and ask her to send an email verifying your proof of vaccination.  You only need to send in proof ONCE - we will record that you submitted your information and it will be noted in the system for all future events you wish to attend.  If you register for this event but have not yet submitted your proof of vaccination, you will be receiving an email reminding you to submit a copy of your card. 

If you must cancel, please try to do so at least 2 days prior to the event so that others can take your spot if you can't join us.  Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the event.
