Learn and Play MahJongg at the Overlook Restaurant!

The Overlook Restaurant is located at 10555 N La Canada Drive, Oro Valley 

We will play a few games then break for lunch and then continue playing. 

In response to the results of the recent Newcomers Member Survey and in the spirit of making sure everyone who attends this event feels welcome and included, we will no longer have open seating. Everyone will pick a tile to determine which table they will play at. The exception are those that are new to the game will sit at the table with instruction.

Meals at the restaurant range from $9.00 to $14.00.

Please join Sheri Morris and Carrie Jacobi for beginners and non-beginners.

For beginners come and learn this exciting fun game. Your instructors will have all that will be needed for this session.

Before attending your first session please order the 2022 card.

Please use the self-cancellation feature on the Newcomers website if you need to cancel after you registered. However, if you need to cancel within 24 hours of this event please text/email either Sheri or Carrie.

In response to a survey of Tucson Newcomers Club members, the Newcomers Board has voted to require proof of COVID vaccination for everyone attending indoor events and/or events where food and/or beverages will be consumed, effective July 1, 2021.  

In order to attend this event, you must have first emailed a copy of your vaccination card to TucsonNewcomersWebsite@gmail.com.  This policy includes all guests as well.  Alternatively, you may show your vaccination card to any Board member and ask her to send an email verifying your proof of vaccination.  You only need to send in proof ONCE - we will record that you submitted your information and it will be noted in the system for all future events you wish to attend.  If you register for this event but have not yet submitted your proof of vaccination, you will be receiving an email reminding you to submit a copy of your card.  

Self-cancellation is available for this event until  June 16.  If you need to cancel, please open the event>click on the ‘Already Registered Button’ and complete the two-step process to cancel your registration.  If you have successfully canceled, you will receive a confirmation email.  A link to more detailed instructions for registrations and cancellations can always be found at the top of the ‘Quick Access Link’ section on the Members Home Page.
